 About Rusty Wallace
Veteran driver Rusty Wallace has come a long way from his debut in
1973 at Lakehill Speedway in Missouri. Today, he's respected as an
exceptionally successful driver and featured on many "All-Time
Greatest NASCAR Driver" lists.
The 1984 Winston Cup Rookie of the Year and 1989 Winston Cup champion
(runner-up '88 and '93) continues to compete after 20 years in Cup
racing. His 16-year winning streak- the best among active drivers-
ended in 2002. By that time, Wallace had achieved a noteworthy 54 Winston
Cup victories.
